In 1942 the war continued to rage on, Nazis decided on the ‘final solution’ and the worst of the Holocaust atrocities began with more than a million people exterminated in 1942 alone, while the rest of the year was dominated with battles, the US organising its military, and Japanese involvement in the war.

So here they are, the ten top selling books of 1942 as war gripped the world. We’ve also included some well known books that didn’t make the list.
