Ash Davidson – Damnation Spring
Ash Davidson’s Damnation Spring follows the Gundersen family who have, for generations, felled giant redwoods on California’s coast. Rich’s son Chub wishes to follow in his footsteps but Rich wants more for him, meanwhile, Colleen just wants a brother or sister for Chub but she is losing hope and her suspicions that something is wrong about the heart of the forest are growing. Rich is then offered the opportunity to buy a plot of which borders Damnation Grove, which he jumps at without telling Colleen. As a result, the Gundersens find themselves on opposite sides of a fight that threatens to rip their community apart.
