Last month HBO, released the first teaser trailer for its mini-series adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s debut novel Sharp Objects. The series will star Amy Adams as Camille Preaker, a journalist who returns to her hometown to cover a series of brutal murders. As we reported, a teaser trailer was released earlier this year in April, and now HBO has released a full length trailer to get you excited.
The first episode is set to air on July 9 at 9PM and will run for eight episodes. No doubt fans of the book will be eager to check this one out, and fans of psychological thrillers should definitely give it a watch. Gillian Flynn has since gone on to publish several other books, including the 2012 bestseller Gone Girl.
