Stephen King has made no secret of the fact he despises the current POTUS. The spat between the author and Donald Trump has been going on since Trump started running for president, and it doesn’t seem to be dying down any time soon.
Stephen King was eventually blocked by the POTUS, however it was deemed illegal for the president to block any American citizens so King can continue to ‘at’ the president in his scathing tweets.
The latest reaction from King centred around Trump’s visit to Russia, and all the strange and worrying things Trump did and said while he was there.
George Orwell on Trump and Putin, in 1945: “The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.”

“The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which,” wrote King, comparing the two leaders to the pigs in Orwell’s story, and suggesting Orwell would have written the passage about Trump and Putin, had he been around today.
