News of the fantasy series adaptation has been floating around for a while, with speculation starting a few years back. Finally it seems it is well on its way!
After a year of casting calls, Rosamund Pike was given the role of Moiraine, the leader of the all-female organisation called the Aes Sedai. Within a few months several more cast members were announced: Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, and Zoë Robins as Nynaeve. Barney Harris will appear as Mat Cauthon and Madeleine Madden will play the channeler Egwene Al’Vere.
The official account for The Wheel of Time television adaptation has just recently offered a glimpse into the first table reading of the new script!
