Margaret Atwood is hot property right now and the recent adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale really couldn’t have been more well-received by viewers. If that series left you wanting more then hopefully you’ll be waiting patiently for the adaptation of Alias Grace, another of Atwood’s novels. We brought you that news along with pictures from the set of Alias Grace a few months ago and today the first official Netflix trailer is here!
Alias Grace is based around a true story from 1840s Canada, chronicling the murders of a wealthy famer and his mistress. The eponymous Grace Marks is eventually convicted of their murder and this six episode miniseries is about to bring the book to life.
Alias Grace goes live on Netflix on November 3rd and it’s not being streamed weekly so you can watch the entire thing on a six hour binge if you so wish. If you are still hoping to read the novel before you sit down with the popcorn, there is still time!
