Possibly George Orwell’s most read book – Animal Farm was first published in 1945 and has never been out of print since. His heart rending tale of how the animals’ bid for freedom ends up with them living in a totalitarian regime mirrors the events of the Russian Revolution and, unfortunately, many more recent events.
