Unnun (verb) (rare)

un-un

To defrock (metaphorically), a nun. To make someone not a nun any more.

Early 17th century; earliest use found in John Florio (1553–1625), author and teacher of languages. From un- + nun. Un-nun is still an acceptable spelling.
