Enjambement (n)
en-zjamb-ment
(in verse) The continuation of a sentence without a pause beyond the end of a line, couplet, or stanza.
I have always liked the feeling of poetry (and music lyrics) written in this style.
Example sentences
“I’m never sure if it’s enjambement or just poor grammar.”
“After my full stop key broke on my laptop, everything I wrote was an example of unintentional enjambement..”
