Honorificabilitudinitatibus (adj)
Hon-oar-if-ik-ab-il-it-you-din-it-at-e-bus
Means invincible, glorious, honourable. It is the ablative plural of the Latin contrived honorificabilitudinitas, which is an extension of honorificabilis meaning honourableness.
I came across this word when looking for some Shakespearean quotes and I couldn’t resist; what a wonderfully over complicated word.
Example sentence
I’m sorry but really? Ok, I’ll give it the good old British try.
” Sir Winston Churchill was remembered for many things including being honorificabilitudinitatibus”
