Pusillanimous (adj)
pu-sil-an-im-ous
Lacking courage or determination; overly timid.
I may be the only one who does so, but I think of this word every time I hear people called ‘pussy’ and lament of the loss of intellect. From Greek pusillus ‘very small’ + animus ‘mind’
