By September 11, 2016Word of the Day

Chad (noun)

A piece of waste material removed from card or tape by punching.

I love that absolutely everything has a name, I always just called these holes, as in doughnut holes but now I know better.

Example sentences

“I save all the Angel chads I produce at Christmas and sell them as wedding table confetti.”

“If you collect up your chads they can be used as fake snow when decorating the house.”
