Word of the Day – Nebulous

By May 16, 2015Word of the Day

Nebulous (adj)

neb-ool-us

In the form of a cloud. Hazy and unclear.

Great word and I particularly love it in its metaphoric sense. My daughter came and asked what this meant out of her book today and I think it’s perfect for Word of the Day.

Example sentences

“His memories of his childhood were somewhat nebulous all these years on.”

“The smudge on her paper looked nebulous thanks to the way the ink had bloomed out.”
