John Green’s Turtles All The Way Down Coming to the Big Screen

John Green’s book adapt so well to the big screen and given the popularity of The Fault in Our Stars it’s little wonder filmmakers are all over anything he writes. A few weeks ago it was announced that his latest novel Turtles all the Way Down was coming to the big screen and now the adaptation has a director.

Actress come filmmaker Hannah Marks will direct the Fox 2000 feature film adaptation of Turtles all the Way Down. Marks is best known for her role in Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and has been named as director on this adaptation.

The adaptation will tell the story of 16 year old Aza, a girl with OCD who pursues the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Picket with her friend Daisy. The adaptation was written by Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker (showrunners of This is Us) but will have John Green as executive producer on the project.

The cast for the adaptation hasn’t yet been announced but we’ll bring you that news as we have it, but given the popularity of other adaptations from the author such as The Fault in our Stars, and Paper Towns, we can assume this is going to be popular!

As casting isn’t yet complete, you still have a while to wait for the adaptation and so if you first want to read the book, you probably still have time to do so.
