We’re obsessed with bookmarks here at For Reading Addicts, as you may well have noticed and we particularly love the ‘crafty’ make it yourself ones. There are literally hundreds of tutorials on You Tube for different DIY bookmarks, of differing degrees of difficulty but today, we’re going crazy for these Kawaii (that’s cute in Japanese in case you’re not 12) DIY bookmarks.
These adorable anime inspired bookmarks are absolutely adorable and each one takes less than two minutes to make. What’s more, it’s a really simple project so it’s a fantastic one to do with the kiddies too!
I want them all! And if you really wanted to you could snazzy them up with googly eyes, or even laminate them to make them long lasting.
Florida Man, drag queen and burlesque performer, offered us a side of Voldemort we have not seen for…ever. At an Ariana Grande tribute night the fantastic artist gave the audience the ultimate Potter-themed treat, complete with wand fight and special lighting effects. Florida Man’s perfect lip-syncing made the show all the more authentic, and ends with a spectacular kiss between the villain and his foe.
We have also included a few other Harry Potter-themed burlesque routines (there are literally HUNDREDS of them on YouTube) for your shock/amazement/titillation.
You are welcome?
Whittaker called the experience “an honour” when she made her CBeebies debut on 7th December, just a few weeks ago. If you saw it you’ll known it was a magical experience, if not then we’ve included the reading here so you can watch it now.
His style has been copied, styled out, and parodied the world over, referenced in popular culture, and we have selected some of our favourite Seuss parodies from the years.
Enjoy these very silly parodies and clever covers dedicated to Dr Seuss.
Each comedian takes on a figure or story from history and explains in as much factual detail as possible who they were and what they became known for.
The comedian gets as sloshed as they possibly can while attempting to still speak coherently- telling us the tale of their historical figure. As well as some of the big royal and military names through history, they touch on some of our best known writers- Byron, Potter, Shelley, and more…
