A Street Cat Named Bob is one of those books I’ve been meaning to read since forever, and it looks like it’s time to move it up my TBR as it’s now going to movie!
James Bowen, who suffered years of substance abuse and homelessness, originally released the memoir. Eventually a street cat came into his life, and this is their story. In real life the two could often be seen in Covent Garden where James would play music with the cat on his shoulder.
Tim John is adapting the bestseller for movie, and now the first trailer is released! Luke Treadway will play James Bowen, and there are plenty of other well known names from the British film circuit too, including Joanne Froggat, Ruta Gedmintas and Anthony Head! Take a look:
Thankfully I have a little while to read the book yet as the film releases in cinemas on November 4th, and from the trailer it looks like it’s going to be sensational. Fans of the bestseller will be hoping this one lives up to the book!
