The Monster Bed
My children are 12 and 20 now and after years of reading aloud, passing books through the family and loving reading together, they now want me to go away and leave them to read in peace. This week we finally faced the ‘end of an era’ task of sorting out the children’s books in the house, deciding what to keep and what to drop off at the charity shop. Like a true reading addict the sort out took hours as I found myself reading many of the books as I went and it got me thinking about turning some of my favourite children’s books into a small series of blogs.
The inspiration is purely selfish, my children don’t want me to read any more so I’m inflicting it on you guys! I hope you enjoy hearing it as much as I enjoyed reading it. Links to the book below.
