“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” Ernest Hemingway
From the booksellers of the Seine, to the romantic portrayals in literature, there’s no denying Paris is an artistic and literary city. Gothic architecture, a poetic language and the most romantic city river in the world make Paris the perfect backdrop for any author and so it’s little wonder the city is the location for so many well known novels.
Today we’re featuring novels set in the beautiful French capital, with settings both modern and through history. We’re sure you’ll have your own favourites too, so why don’t you tell us about them in the comments.
