You can even buy a book for an impoverished child!
As you know we’re always on the look out for a good parody video, and they don’t come much better than one with a great message, raising the profile of a great cause.
7 Books is a parody of Lukas Graham’s 7 Years and it’s fantastic but it also has a very serious message (watch to the end!) about child literacy. While literacy rates are great in many communities, children living in poverty often don’t have the same access to literature and literacy rates fall.
Future House Publishing, creators of this parody, are offsetting this right now and you can help. They’re teaming up with Access Books to bring more books to children living in poverty. Click here to see how you can help and watch the video right to the end for all the details, and some powerful statistics regarding children’s literacy.
