Confessions of an Off Grid Author

By November 12, 2016Authors, Video

OK they’re more like the musings of an Off Grid author but that didn’t sound quite as interesting.

Michael Bunker is the author of several best selling novels including Brother Frankenstein (which is how I was introduced to his works), the Pennsylvania Omnibus, The Silo Archipelago (set in Hugh Howey’s World of WOOL), and was commissioned by Amazon.com through their Kindle Worlds program to write the first commissioned novel set in the World of Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle which was called Osage Two Diamonds. He makes his own Mesquite Coffee, grows amazing garlic, rolls cigars and lives, works and writes Off Grid; when pressed Michael identifies himself as being a Plain Person and a Texan.

Most of us think of the Plain lifestyle as taking Off Grid living to the extreme, no electricity, no modern conveniences, nothing, but after having listened to and watched Michael over the last year or so I’ve learned so much more. I love listening to him waxing lyrical over his latest projects whether they be literary or lifestyle and love the ever present cigars that he rolls almost nonchalantly as he interacts on a very personal level with his readers who he considers to be very much his online friends.

After watching perhaps the twenty fifth video Michael produced I thought about how nice it would be to share my author friend with all of you so I asked if he’d do us a video, thankfully he leaped at the chance. So sit back and relax while the uniquely enigmatic Michael Bunker shares with us his life as an Off Grid author.

Michael has a blog which he runs from his website which has details on how you can become a Patreon Partner and all the things that title offers you, he’s very active on his facebook page and is extremely involved with his readers and he is a prolific author.
