Is anyone else counting down the days to the release of the script of the eight instalment of the Harry Potter series? Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will be released on Harry Potter’s (and J.K’s) birthday, the 31st July and it’s pretty much the most anticipated novel of the year, despite not even being a novel!
Either way Potterites will take the next instalment on whatever terms they can, and everyone is incredibly excited! The script was written by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, and although it’s been given the seal of approval by original author, J. K Rowling, it’s effectively fan fiction.
So with that in mind, I’m currently scouring the net for the best Harry Potter fan fiction out there, and over the next week I’ll be featuring some of my favourites.
Today it’s Broad Strokes Production who have caught my eye with their visualisation of ‘The Greater Good’, the battle between Dumbledore and Grindenwald in which Ariana was killed. I really love this, it’s a fantastic interpretation and I think fans of the series will too!
The new addition to the series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opens in theatres on 31st July and on the very same day the script from the show is released. Grab yours at your local bookshop, or preorder on Amazon now!
