Harry Potter’s childhood home, as featured in one of the movies, is available to rent form Airbnb.
The De Vere House is situated in the English village of Lavenham and the property served as Harry Potter’s childhood home in Godric’s Hollow in the movie franchise. The property is also open to longterm stays, so you can live out your Harry Potter dreams for a full month if you so wish!
The De Vere House had been a bed and breakfast establishment for a while, but has recently reopened to welcome Potter fans who wish to stay somewhere special. The house was used to represent the home of James and Lily Potter, where Harry spent the first year of his life before he had to live in the cupboard under the stairs with his terrible uncle and aunt, and cousin.
The Five Star and Gold Award bed and breakfast accommodation is situated in Britain’s finest medieval village. The entire village appeared as Godric’s Hollow in the Harry Potter films with De Vere House located in the centre of the stunning village, boasting a wealth of real and fictional history.
Inside the property there are two four poster bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms, TV, wifi internet access, private guest sitting room with log fire and courtyard garden- all accessed by the guests through a private entrance.
