Libraries of Great Britain – Most Borrowed 2014/15

With Austerity cuts hitting our public libraries hard and over 400 of them already closed down we need now more than ever to show our support for these valuable local amenities or risk them all becoming nothing more than images in our history books.

Public Lending Right (PLR) has recently released the figures for the most borrowed in 2014/2015 and I think the results might just surprise you.

The top 5 authors (Adult) represent over 1,000,000 loans in the twelve month period that was measured, which can only be a good thing.
