When I saw this library background noise video on You Tube, a whole hour of it, my first reaction was to laugh and wonder what library noise actually is. Is this a thing? I hit play out of curiosity more than anything and suddenly I could almost smell the library, hear the sounds of fluttering pages and all the other ‘white noise’ you get in a quiet library.
I know, I know, I sound crazy but it’s really quite relaxing. I fear this is going to be one of those nerdy shares that only about ten of you will ‘get’ but I ended up leaving it playing while I was working and quite missed it when it stopped.
Am I mad? Has my bibliophilia finally sent me over the edge? Have I finally lost the plot?
