By September 17, 2020New Releases, News, Political

The Secret Barrister has been a Twitter favourite for years, using their expertise and platform to shine a light on the rights and wrongs of law and order.

The junior barrister is an award-winning blogger, and whistle blower on some of the more dodgy areas of the law. Their first book, Stories of Law and How its Broken made them a household name and quickly gained them a large Twitter following, which has since risen to just over 400k.

The undercover lawyer came out to promote their latest book Fake Law this month, visiting book shops with copies and putting up promotional posters.

Fake Law: The Truth About Justice in an Age of Lies was released on the 3rd of September following the success of their previous book which sold 390,000 copies for £3.5m through Nielsen BookScan.

The new title promises to debunk “the lies and builds a defence against the abuse of our law and reveals the stupidity, malice and incompetence behind many of the biggest legal stories of recent years”.
