Pride Power List: In Books

Guardian’s Pride Power List for 2025 has been revealed, and among them are many LGBTQ+ individuals who have penned books; including prolific Scottish crime writer Val McDermid, who created the first British lesbian detective in her début novel, Report For Murder (1987).
