As holiday lets go, the idea of staying in Hagrid’s Hut is pretty much as good as it gets and now that’s exactly what you get when you stay in the Ground Keepers Cottage in North Yorkshire.
The cottage is an exact replica of Hagrid’s Hut from the Harry Potter movies and is available to rent for £195 a night. The hut was the brainchild of Carol Cavendish, self confessed Potterhead, who spent almost £200,000 recreating the cottage.
The cottage sleeps six and is situated on a farm in Saltburn on the North York Moors National Park, so is in a desirable location, pretty and full of rolling hills and beautiful countryside as well as a sea view. The cottage sleeps up to six people and is pet friendly, and has only just been opened to visitors so you could be one of the first people to stay.
It’s a truly magical place and we’re sure the owners will have no problem at all filling it all year around as people line up to get a magical experience.
