You know that someone loves their job when they decide it needs to go on day trips and that’s just what happens when this San Pedro Librarian takes her books for a ride.
Ednita Kelly takes 250lbs of books with her on her custom-made book bike and cycles all over Los Angeles spreading the joy of reading across the city and bringing the library to children who would probably never have access to the libraries otherwise. “I believe in the magic of libraries and what we bring to people, I really wanted to show that off in a fun way,” she said.
So far she has given away over 5,000 books and we here at FRA think she rocks!
