In 2006, Google purchased YouTube for $1.65 billion. Saddam Hussein was tried and sentenced to death. On the last day of the Hajj, in Mina, Saudi Arabia a stampede caused the death of 362 Muslim pilgrims.
Among all that there were plenty of books published too. So here they are, the ten top selling books of 2006. We’re also featuring some well known books that didn’t make the cut!
2006 also saw the release of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.
