We started at 1918, bringing you the bestselling books of the last one hundred years, and we’re now into the period since we launched For Reading Addicts. Today we’re featuring the bestselling books of 2017 in the penultimate blog of this series.
In 2017 Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States, Myanmar was accused of ethnic cleansing for its treatment of the Rohingy, and a total solar ecplise was seen across America.
Among all that there were plenty of books published too. So here they are, the top selling books of 2017. There have been some disappointing books in recent lists, but this one is a bit more interesting!
We’re also featuring some well known books that didn’t make the cut!
The Underground Railroad – Colson Whitehead
Before We Were Yours – Lisa Wingate
Also released in 2017 was, Exit West, by Mohsin Hamid and Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward.
We’re almost at the end of this series now as 2018 makes 100 years, look out for that coming soon.
