The Swedish Bookstore is a clip take from the film Top Secret which starred Peter Cushing and Val Kilmer (this is his film debut) in a 1984 WWii spy parody. Nothing is sacred and the entire film sends up everything from Elvis to the Wild West and in this excerpt the heroes have walked into a Swedish Bookstore where they meet Peter Cushing… That’s when everything starts getting just a little bit strange.
This scene must have been so difficult to act with no CGI green screening available to them.
Anyone know what they’re saying?
