There are books that we read and forget, books we read and remember, and then books we read and they change us forever. Margaret Atwood’s Dystopian tale about a post apocalyptic future where the world revolves around the subjugation of women into patriarch-ally decided and controlled roles was one of those books.
Although The Handmaid’s Tale has already received the screen adaptation treatment the resulting film was disappointing to say the least but now if this trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale is anything to go by it looks as though this classic novel is to get the screen representation it truly deserves.
Premiering on the 26th of April this adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale is being presented as a series and will be available on the streaming service Hulu and I’m sure you will agree that this version looks very good indeed.
