We think that one of the best things about the closing of a year is the ‘best of’ bookish lists that appear helping us all boost the TBR. Over on Tumblr yearinreview has been breaking down the year in Tumblr lists and as part of that we have the 20 most reblogged books of 2015!
It’s a mixed list, and unsurprisingly it’s dominated by YA. What is surprising is that the list is more old favourites than new releases and it’s a mixed bunch! You may find you’ve read a lot of these already, but then there are a couple we haven’t even heard of!
Without further ado and with thanks to yearinreview, here are the top 20 reblogged books of 2015 from Tumblr.
Harry Potter Series – J. K Rowling
It seems that the Potterverse will remain popular forever and with the announcement of The Cursed Child in 2015 and the release of the first Harry Potter Illustrated it’s been quite a year for the series.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians – Rick Riordan
Percy Jackson gets plenty of mentions from the For Reading Addicts community and remains a popular series. It’s clearly popular elsewhere too, as it’s the second most reblogged book of 2015 on Tumblr.

Song of Ice and Fire Series – George R. R. Martin
As everyone waits for the next instalment of the Game of Thrones television series, the whole television series has got lots of new readers reaching for the book series too, so we’re not surprised to find this here in third place.

The Raven Cycle – Maggie Stiefvater
Another fantasy selection next with The Raven Cycle from an author who is loved the world over. Urban fantasy and popular with teens, the quartet takes fourth place in the list.
The Divergent Series – Veronica Roth
Making the top 5 pure fantasy is the Divergent Series by Veronica Roth. This series has topped many of our own polls, and is the fifth most reblogged book on Tumblr this year.
The Amazing Book is Not On Fire – Dan Howell and Phil Lester
The first book on the list I have not heard of is The Amazing Book is Not On Fire. Dan and Phil are Internet stars, this is their story. I’ve not heard of them either! Need to quiz the kids.
