Nonpartisan (adj)
non-pahr-ti-zan
not supporting or controlled by a political party, special interest group, or the like.
Nonpartisan is formed from the negative prefix non- and the adjective partisan, which comes from Latin pars, meaning “piece, portion, faction.”
