Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum to Return for ‘Jurassic World 3’

By September 27, 2019News

Based on Michael Crichton’s book of the same name, Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park was one of the biggest films of the 1990’s and is a must watch for anyone who considers themselves a fan of movies. We’ve seen several sequels over the years, and the series recently underwent a soft reboot with the new Jurassic World trilogy, which expands upon the world Crichton created. Those of you who love the original film will be pleased to learn that Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum will be reprising their roles for the upcoming film Jurassic World 3.

Neil, Dern, and Goldblum portrayed the characters Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Neil Malcolm respectively and, following the film’s success, they’ve become synonymous with the franchise. After years away from dinosaurs, it has been confirmed that the actors will have sizable roles in the upcoming third film in the new trilogy, Jurassic World 3, which is slated for a release in 2021.

Sam Neil’s and Laura Dern’s last adventure was in 2001’s Jurassic Park III, and Goldblum had a small role in 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. As Collider reports, it was officially the trio will finally be reunited after decades apart during a screening of Jurassic World at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood earlier this week.

Details of the upcoming film are a tightly kept secret but it seems the film will follow on from the events of the last film and will explore a world where dinosaurs now roam freely across the earth. We may have to wait a while before we get to see it for ourselves, but here’s hoping the film lives up to Crichton’s novels.
