This week we’re bringing you the longlist via the New Yorker for the National Book Awards 2018. So far we’ve had fiction and young people’s literature but today we’re featuring the longlist for translated literature.
In previous years the National Book Awards has not awarded a prize for translated literature so this is the inaugural prize in this category. Many of the books have already received favourable attention around the literary world and now they are back in the limelight today.
We still have poetry and nonfiction to go but for today here’s the longlist for translated literature.
