Winston Graham OBE was born on the 30th of June in 1908 and died on the 10th of July in 2003. As a novelist he was best known for his series of historical novels set in Cornwall- The Poldark Novels.
The stories surrounding Ross Poldark are now a hit BBC series, popular all over- from Cornwall, UK, to the USA. This popularity may be partly due to the stunning good looks of actor Aidan Turner who plays Ross Poldark but also thanks to Winston Graham’s emotive words.
Here are ten of Winston Graham’s beautiful quotes from his various works of fiction.
