Did you know that Charles Dickens wrote A Christmas Carol was originally organised in five stanza-like sections called “staves.” with the only copy of the novel in its original format being kept at the New York Public Library. This Podcast of A Christmas Carol read by Neil Gaiman at a performance at the New York Public Library showcases Dickens’ writing style and Gaiman’s wonderful reading voice. Sit back, grab a glass of Eggnog or Mulled wine and enjoy this wonderful rendition of one of the best known Christmas stories.
