The team at Horrible Histories has a talent for making some hilarious parodies of popular songs to teach about historical figures and events, making them accessible and engaging. There have been some real gems in the past: Charles Dickens as Morrissey, Dick Turpin as Adam Ant, Charles II as Eminem, and the Roman Emperors singing Michael Jackson’s Bad, to name but a few of their best.
Season 7, Special Episode 2 saw them celebrating a group of popular female writers who sing a parody of Little Mix’s song, Black Magic. The video stars Jessica Ransom, Dominique Moore, Gemma Whelan and Louise Ford, as Beatrix Potter, Malorie Blackman, Enid Blyton and Jacqueline Wilson.
