It: Chapter II Official Trailer Released

In 2017, a film adaptation of Stephen King’s classic horror novel It was released, and reminded us why King is one of the best living horror writers in town. If you enjoyed the first film, then you’ll want to check out the very creepy trailer for It: Chapter II.

The novel flip-flops between two timelines, one that follows a group of children being terrorized by the evil clown Pennywise, and one that follows them as adults, decades after their first encounter with the creepy clown. The first film covered the portion of the book that follows the characters as children, and the second will pick up 27 years later as Pennywise returns. In the sequel, James McAvoy stars as Bill Denbrough, Jessica Chastain plays Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader is Richie Tozier, and Isiah Mustafa plays Mike Hanlon. Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as the terrifying clown.

It: Chapter II is set to hit cinemas later this year on September 6.
