Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials has been hotly anticipated since mid 2018 but FINALLY we get to see what it is going to look like.
James MacAvoy has been named as one of the stars, along with Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, and Clarke Peters. The 8 episodes (over 2 seasons) will look atmospheric and full of drama and intrigue- as we can see from the teaser trailer.
The joint enterprise between the BBC and HBO will set imaginations alight, and hopefully introduce more readers to the wonderful work of Philip Pullman. After the disaster that was The Golden Compass movie adaptation- His Dark Materials has its work cut out to impress fans of the books.
