Cassandra Clare on Researching and Writing

By July 27, 2016July 26th, 2018Authors, Video

Cassandra Clare is the author of several hugely successful interlocking YA series including The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices which go towards making up The Shadowhunter Chronicles.
Born Judith Rumelt on July 27th 1973 in Tehran, Cassandra travelled across Europe during her childhood eventually settling in America in time for high School, after writing several pieces of fiction under the pseudonym Cassandra Claire which had been extremely well received Cassandra dropped the I from her surname, deleted all her stories and began writing proper.

With her books turned into a moderately successful film and a television series that has been very well received, here we see an interview of Cassandra Clare about researching and writing her books.

If you’ve not read any of the Shadowhunter Chronicles and are a fan of YA fantasy literature I can highly recommend Cassandra’s books. They are hugely entertaining and a pleasantly easy read for those moments when you just want a story to flow over you.
