As the guilty possessor of a library book I borrowed from my college library (I left there 25 years ago) I get a twinge of fear every time the phrase Library Book Fine is mentioned.
With the news that in the US arrest warrants are now being issued for those who are tardy in returning their borrowed books I cannot imagine it will be long before we see ‘the heavies’ being brought in to secure monies owed.
