While last year’s World Fantasy Award winners were overshadowed by controversy around H. P Lovecraft and his removal from the trophy, the 2016 awards have gone off without a hitch. The shortlist for the 2016 World Fantasy Awards were released a few months ago, and just a couple of days ago all the 2016 winners were announced, including Best Novel, Long Fiction, and the rest.
